WELL I couldnt wait for my Front Tube fender so I finished t
Well it bugged me thinking the jeep was going to look good from the doors back and Normal Stock up front, So i Changed all that.
I went to B&B Metal Stocked up on steel and began the fabrication on the front tube fenders.
To my surprise i am almost done with them.
I have the outter tubes & the flange plate made and welded together like a skeleton of what is to come. I am going to finish the main supports and hopefully be done skinning them today!
A friend of mine who has one of the sickest jeeps out here in Bakersfield, Randy
Is replacing his Xenon Fenders with Tube fenders this weekend and is going to give me his 3/16" Thick Rear Quarter Panel Guards. i have to lag on putting on the rear fenders And Spare Tire Carrier because the Quarter panels will basically assign the rear fender location. Also the sliders Align with the rear Fenders so i have to wait. But why wait, finish the fronts.
Unfortunately he never went forward with the replace his fenders so I just went ahead and made a small flange plate and mounted them as fender flares... it gives its Baja feel..
I like it!!!
Also I added a few tubes to the front stock bumper and reworked my haul drop hitch and stock rear bumper with swing down tire carrier.
Well I'm off I gotta get things done... if I don't who will...

My Radio Wheelie Flyer
I was pulling around a motor for my mini sandrail in the garage when I thought
what would it be like if i made a gas powered wagon?
or better yet a gas powered wagon with a 125cc 9 HP 4 speed motor???
ALL I COULD THINK IS WHEELIES!
i thought ok too many projects back to the sandrail so i forgot about it for about 2 days when a neighbor that sees me busy busy busy all the time stopped by and introduced himself. he was looking to sell a small rear end that he has had for a while and asked if i know someone that would be interested in it.
What a coincedence i was looking for a little wider rear end than the one that was in the mini rail to give it more width for stability so i went a took a peek at it.
turned out not only was it a Sweet rear end it had a Low 10:1 gear ratio.
he wasnt asking much for it he wanted $100 for it as far as i was concerned it was worth the money but i didnt have any!
So i went home and thought that would be killer for the sandrail... Time To Craigslist... a week later i sold my Springer Front End and I Bought the rear end.
Then WOW 10:1 that is LOW. That is not going to work for something that is single speed with tons of torque already what was i thinking. so i slid it off to the side next to the parts in the corner.
about a week later i was like look at how easy it would be for me to make that motor and the rear end work together as a powertrain for SOMETHING!
so i welded a set of motor mounts to the rear end frame, hooked up a chain and said that was painless & quick what else can i put together with the set?
so i decided lets see what its going to be like to find some rims for this little set up.
i was looking at the bolt pattern on the rear end going man i hope this is a common size bolt pattern, So i Grabbed a Measuring Tape and Behold 4on4
Yes!!! i had a set of ITP Aluminum wheels with some brand new golfcart tires mounted just sitting in the garage waiting for something to come up.
PERFECT FIT!
the entire set up was starting to take shape but it was so small that i was starting to think what am i going to use this for> when i pulled the wagon over to transport the whole setup And WHAMO... What about the DANG Wagon?
So immediately i took off the wheels and set it on top of the engine and rear end and it fit perfect it was telling me "LETS DO THIS"
So the Wagon Was It!
i am going to get some pics up probably by next week of the wagon to show you what i mean! and How Mean!!! Youll see!

What I Am All About...!
Here in the garage I'm in a nonstop "Get R' Done." mode. I may lag at times but it's almost always linked to a monetary issue...
I encounter many ideas and the majority of the time I pursue them.
I was born in Hollywood, California on Dec 1, 1977 to 2T & Charlie McCaslin. I have one older sister Cassie and one Younger Brother Jonah.
I am who I am because of these people and the ability to be allowed to design and build things while I was growing up.
I remeber going to Grandpa Ralphs and being Taught by my dad to use his tools and machinery. He Basically had a Great Shop; compound sliding miter saw, huge Planers, Drill Presses, Drills, Chisels, torches, EVERYTHING & ANYTHIING!
I would go wth my dad while he had something to do and I would go in the shop and just build. I would come out with a wooden airplane, birdhouse, something for mom; skateboard Ramps, EVERYTHING!!!
So when I got older, I had this feeling of being able to do anything I was taught as a kid; that I could do anything; and I was pretty much allowed to- within reason.
The reason for my blog is to document some of the wild rides and crazy contraptions that I have made over my life, with the "I can do anything" attitude.
You will soon come to find out that it"s not long before I'm making something new, exciting, fun & dangerous... LOL
So far I have made over the last 6 months, some pretty neat things that I will soon be putting up on the blog, Like the custom Jeep Tube Bumper, Tube Fenders, Tire carrier, Rock Sliders, Overhead Sound & Light Bar, Gas Powered Wagon, Radio Flyer of course, Wheelie Monster, Child Size Single Seat Sand-rail that I made from a kids quad, a custom hand-made Cruiser Chopper Bicycle, a Mini Cutlass Go-cart with air struts, a Remote Control Sailboat with top deck and hull, and many more things that I will talk about that I am making or have made in the past!
