The Building of Rat Wagon

We'll all I started to build a second wagon seeing how much fun I had with the first before selling it.  I thought I would build one for my first nephew Action Jaxson!  & His sister Sophie!

It is coming out awesome I did the hairpin style front end avail this time with him joints and springs. The front end is going to have 2" inches of travel to dampen the hard landings of wheelies.
I learned this the lat wagon! I wish it had front suspension if you chop the gas and hit the brakes it Comes Down HARD!

This one had a T handle bar with a thumb throttle because the throttle has a built in stop to regulate the amount of throttle they are able to give it for learning purposes.

The seat is a Tillett racing Go Cart seat my brother scored from a friend.

The front wheels are 10" scooter tires and rims. The front axle is custom bent and 6 inches wider than the rear axle. Bent to simulate a drop beam axle for that old school feel.

The wagon had to be notched for the frames steering setup and also the carb an intake because I am making the chassis as low profile ad possible to avoid roll covers a any cost!
(((Hence the throttle stop)))

The exhaust is awesome it looks like a open header set out the sides 4 exhaust pipes on each side of the wagon to give it that mean sound and to look like the real deal!

I also I'm in he middle of building the center console shifter and choke knob mount. I'm trying to keep it as sweet looking as possible its hard though I came up with a carb cover / shift console pan idea I am going to try out and see how it comes out.

Also my mini Pete  semi cabs are on pre sale email me for pricing and a shipping quote...

Well till next time....

I will update this whole posting when I figure out where my more recent pics went. Since these photos were taken I have since mounted fat tire fenders and almost finished with the molding and bodywork... I'm probably going to be painting it and the frame for the semi truck at the same time. I have been pondering Powder coating...for both...

Each one touching on a different style and feel than the next . I'm going to try and dig up some other photos of the choppers, and anyone that knows me best knows I don't use cameras very much let alone take pics of most everything I've built before it gets canabalised for something else. LOL
