frame is most all built  here it is with the main frame almost complete needing the Drive side gas tank mount and a few small details done. Steering is hooked up and works sweet! nice and Smooth, i Built a 16 inch 5 position sliding hitch so that i can figure out how much to load the front wheels when all is done and said!  It Worked out Perfect. The Tractor was needing to get some weight off the front wheels a little. it was a little hard to steer under weight so i moved it back 1 position and bam ready to go!

front axle complete and mounted to frame.
it looks good i now need to make a rear kinda power truck set to put under the rear end for the drive train it worked out well there were only 7 pieces used for the entire rear end. Simple Sanitary & Effective!

The 5th wheel plate was a Tough Challenge For Sure! i Wanted it to be as realistic as possible! and man oh man was that a Task! No Room under a 6x4 plate with a huge 7/8" slot up the middle! Whew im Glad it Worked out!
The Jaws were made out of
 3 ~ 5/8" washers.
Glad i Was Head Fabricator out at Central Valley Trucking for a while!

This is a Mock up that i was doing to see what direction i wanted to go with the fenders in the rear i figured out that i want to mold them in fiberglass like the body so that it has a more uniform look to and not use metal like in the picture.

This is the Lowboy in the Middle of being Decked and Plated,
i am paying special attention to the cab because i am going to make a fiberglass mold made for it so i can Copy the semi trucks Body and Fenders when  i get done building and testing !
i have plans on building atleast one of each of MY top 5 favorite trucks
Peterbilt, Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, Freightliner

i am bulding them to be daycabs or sleepers, dual rear axles or bobtailed
they are going to be completely Buildable JUST LIKE THE FACTORY!
Different configurations from Cement Trucks to Roll Offs, Cattle & Hay haulers
End dumps and All each one completely built the way you want it!

Anyways the First one will be rideable Soon!

Here's a steel truck by I made and completed
running and rideble!  These pics are when I had the stacks clamped in place so I could figure out how tall to cut em down to!

Here's a video of the green truck in Action!

Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo Engine Rebuild & Install

Welll the time has almost finally come any day now we will be throwing in Eriks Engine and we will see what she can do!
We have been Getting stuff together for this car for almost 3 years now and finally in December we sent the engine to a Builder that Specializes in High Performance Engines.
$6000 later and we have finally got almost all the parts together for the car.
Turbos were just rebuilt, New motor mounts,  Gauges, gauge pillar Pods, Full Exhaust, Aftermarket Blow Offs, Digital Turbo Timers, Aftermarket ECU (ouch$$$), Larger Lifters. Aluminum flywheel, Underdrive Pulleys, Red Top Optima, & Misc Little Stuff.
just in the little Autozone stuff alone it was a $700 trip.
We Got the Last Package yesterday and if Im Not Mistaken MONDAY IS D-DAY!
i have been looking forward to going for a ride in the car again!
We have had the car UP TO 190 MPH.  When the motor was at the rebuilder we were told that it had a Pston that was cracked in half and that the only thing holdng it together was the Wrist Pin & Rings. Damn were lucky it didnt Let Go Sooner!  It Woulda Been Expensive!!! Caught the rebuild Just in time...
So with all the Aftermarket Goodies & What Not We Are hoping to Break 220 MPH we will see! Soon My Friends I Will Be Going Faster than i have on a streetbike,     But In A Car!   it will seem so Different than on the bike. I have Been 180 MPH on My 02 ZX7R Ninja and that was FAST. I Looked up from behind the Windscreen and Bam Like a Wall, the Wind was grabbing my helmet Trying to rip off my head! But What a Feeling Passing All those Cars Like they Were Stopped on the Side of the Road, Passing them Almost 3 Times Faster than they were Traveling Down the Freeway.  I Must Have Been A Blur To Them!
I have gone from The San Fernando Valley to Bakersfield almost 100 miles with 2 Stops  Once at 7-11 Lake Hughes Rd for 5 mins & Once At the Bottom Of the Grapevine for 5 minutes or so, So i Could Feel my fingers Again (Frozen) in 36 minutes. since the Wreck i have swayed away from sportbikes (I LOVE THEM)  no greater feeling Of Acceleration! I Remember Damn im Hauling ass through a Wide right Hand Sweeper Thinking Man im Doing 100 MPH Im hauling ass!!!
Then   )((((((((((((((((((((((()(((((((((((((((()(-----------------sheeeeewww-----------------)
there Goes Randy Blowing by me like I was standing still.... Damn.....
atleast 60 MPH faster than me it felt like i was sitting on the side of a freeway!
Man i miss riding. I gotta get a Bike!!! Im Thinking Dual Sport!  Possibly My 50!!!
LOL
Way Cooler Looking Than A Scooter....   By FAR!
Well ive done enough rambling!

Building... Building... Building...
Oh Hey Kim...

I HATE HAVING NO STEREO IN MY CAR!!        is her reply
Nick Says Let me take a look at it while you just stay on the Jeep
"""" THANK YOU NICK"""
perfect i get to keep building and he can fix my problem! LOL
SURE HES GONNA GET IT I THINK!!! YEAH RIGHT ITS PREAMP FRIED!
20 Mins Later Low & Behold
(((((DANG BRO IT WAS A WIRE CONNECTION)))))
!!!!!!!!!!!!YES!!!!!!!!!!!
HE Fixed The Stereo! Yay Yay Hooorayyyy!
so Kim asks what is wrong with the Sub?
i said i dont know.
Nick Says Let me Take A Look!
10 Mins Later Low & Behold
(((((BOOM))))) ((((( BOOM))))) ((((( BOOM)))))
Nick Says Sounds good what about the Trunk Rattling. lol
Yes Thank you Sooooo much Kim Has Deserved Her System For So Long She Drives No Less Than 120 miles a Day!
She Is So Happy Now Bumpin on Down the road.

Well To thank Nick I told him we would start building his Jeep bumper the Next day and i would put MY Jeep on hold for the time being!
He Was So Happy!!!!   "back ground" ((((Little Nicky Laugh)))   lol

So There It Was
Thats what i am doing tomorrow i guess
Good Im Glad I Hated his Rectangle Block Bumper It Was Big Square & Just There!
7am he Shows up  We took off to B&B Metals.
he had an idea in his head what he wanted and an Iphone to show me on! lol
so i got a great idea on how he was wanting the bumper!
Nice Bumper Mount Swing Tire Carrier.  It Was Easily "Do able"
so we snagged up all the metal and headed to Tractor Supply Co.
where i had an idea for the hinge! "HEAVY DUTY!"
PERFECT!

We bought a Trailer Stub Axle & Wheel Bearings with Races.
That Oughta Be Strong Enough!
Back to B & B Metals for the Hinge Hub Pieces, Home Depot for the Wire & Supplies, Then back to the Garage!
Once there i had the Main Tire Swing Body Completely Cut And Welded  Within 20 Mins

Then i cut The Inner Spacers, And the Bearing hub to Determined Lengths, Drilled 4 Holes through Both While Jigged in place  and put in the bearing races.
I Thought to my self "This Is The Perfect Hinge"
When that was done i Promplty Began Chopping And Cutting His Old Bumper To Unrecognizeable Shreds. lol

Nick Did Not Look Happy! lol
Kim came out and asked Nick to take her to Costco with his card to get allergy medicine so they split for like 20 mins when he got back he realized i had most of the plates for the bumper cut and Spot welded in place.
Man Was He Happy... No Seriously He Was Stoked!!! Last He Saw Was a Carcass
Now This!  He could finally see what i was seeing in my head the whole time and it was Such a Warm Fuzzy Inside Feeling For Him!!!!  lol
LOL    Sorry Nick   LOL
The Next Day We Got up   and Got Going About 7am  he Showed up and we got it all cleaned up for the Paint Job & Tire Mount attached & Painted it up!

all in all it was a Killer Fun project that Kinda Outta The Blued Me!

In The End I Was SUPER HAPPY With the Final Product
An $600-$800 Bumper For $less Than $200
The Hinge Was $75 Alone if not a little More!
Well Im Tired Its Bed Time And Until Next Time Keep Moving Forwad &

Exactly 1 Year Since my Motorcycle Wreck. What I have Learned

I have learned that the only thing you should worry about is doing things that make you and your Family happy!

Never get complacent in Life thats when the most Shit begins Flying!

NEVER RUSH THINGS!   (it always makes it Screw UP) Hence the Wreck!

Do Something once a month that makes you feel the Rush Of Life!

Try Something you have wanted to Try! You might not be able to Tomorrow!

NEVER BREAK A RIB! Unless you Feel like sleeping on the couch the next 4 Months   LOL

Frustration is a Gauge to which we measure our kids growing up.
LOL
now take this information and Laugh your ass off i didnt say that you learned it
Or had to its just random BS    ROFLMAO

I will never give up riding motorcycles, i just wont do it so often!  (on the street)
come on ya gotta give me somethng i can still ride dirty on my   CRF 50 Pitbike!

till next time Keep Moving & Building & Get "R" Done

WELL I couldnt wait for my Front Tube fender so I finished t

Well it bugged me thinking the jeep was going to look good from the doors back and Normal Stock up front, So i Changed all that.

I went to B&B Metal Stocked up on steel and began the fabrication on the front tube fenders.
To my surprise i am almost done with them.
I have the outter tubes & the flange plate made and welded together like a skeleton of what is to come. I am going to finish the main supports and hopefully be done skinning them today!
A friend of mine who has one of the sickest jeeps out here in Bakersfield, Randy
Is replacing his Xenon Fenders with Tube fenders this weekend and is going to give me his 3/16" Thick Rear Quarter Panel Guards.  i have to lag on putting on the rear fenders And Spare Tire Carrier because the Quarter panels will basically assign the rear fender location.  Also the sliders Align with the rear Fenders so i have to wait. But why wait,  finish the fronts.
Unfortunately he never went forward with the replace his fenders so I just went ahead and made a small flange plate and mounted them as fender flares... it gives its Baja feel..
I like it!!!
Also I added a few tubes to the front stock bumper and reworked my haul drop hitch and stock rear bumper with swing down tire carrier.
Well I'm off I gotta get things done... if I don't who will...

My Radio Wheelie Flyer

I was pulling around a motor for my mini sandrail in the garage when I thought

what would it be like if i made a gas powered wagon?
or better yet a gas powered wagon with a 125cc 9 HP 4 speed motor???
ALL I COULD THINK IS WHEELIES!

i thought ok too many projects back to the sandrail so i forgot about it for about 2 days when a neighbor that sees me busy busy busy all the time stopped by and introduced himself. he was looking to sell a small rear end that he has had for a while and asked if i know someone that would be interested in it.
What a coincedence i was looking for a little wider rear end than the one that was in the mini rail to give it more width for stability so i went a took a peek at it.
turned out not only was it a Sweet rear end it had a Low 10:1 gear ratio.
he wasnt asking much for it he wanted $100 for it as far as i was concerned it was worth the money but i didnt have any!
So i went home and thought that would be killer for the sandrail... Time To Craigslist... a week later i sold my Springer Front End and I Bought the rear end.

Then WOW 10:1 that is LOW. That is not going to work for something that is single speed with tons of torque already what was i thinking. so i slid it off to the side next to the parts in the corner.
about a week later i was like look at how easy it would be for me to make that motor and the rear end work together as a powertrain for SOMETHING!
so i welded a set of motor mounts to the rear end frame, hooked up a chain and said that was painless & quick what else can i put together with the set?
so i decided lets see what its going to be like to find some rims for this little set up.
i was looking at the bolt pattern on the rear end going man i hope this is a common size bolt pattern, So i Grabbed a Measuring Tape and Behold 4on4
Yes!!! i had a set of ITP Aluminum wheels with some brand new golfcart tires mounted just sitting in the garage waiting for something to come up.
PERFECT FIT!

the entire set up was starting to take shape but it was so small that i was starting to think what am i going to use this for> when i pulled the wagon over to transport the whole setup And WHAMO... What about the DANG Wagon?
So immediately i took off the wheels and set it on top of the engine and rear end and it fit perfect it was telling me "LETS DO THIS"
So the Wagon Was It!

i am going to get some pics up probably by next week of the wagon to show you what i mean!  and How Mean!!! Youll see!
till the Next Time L8R & Keep Building Dreams

What I Am All About...!

Here in the garage I'm in a nonstop "Get R' Done." mode. I may lag at times but it's almost always linked to a monetary issue...

I encounter many ideas and the majority of the time I pursue them.
I was born in Hollywood, California on Dec 1, 1977 to 2T  & Charlie McCaslin. I have one older sister Cassie  and one Younger Brother Jonah.
I am who I am because of these people and the ability to be allowed to design and build things while I was growing up.
I remeber going to Grandpa Ralphs and being Taught by my dad to use his tools and machinery. He Basically had a Great Shop; compound sliding miter saw, huge Planers, Drill Presses, Drills, Chisels, torches, EVERYTHING & ANYTHIING!
I would go wth my dad while he had something to do and I would go in the shop and just build. I would come out with a wooden airplane, birdhouse, something for mom; skateboard Ramps, EVERYTHING!!!
So when I got older, I had this feeling of being able to do anything I was taught as a kid; that I could do anything; and I was pretty much allowed to- within reason.

The reason for my blog is to document some of the wild rides and crazy contraptions that I have made over my life, with the "I can do anything" attitude.
You will soon come to find out that it"s not long before I'm making something new, exciting, fun & dangerous... LOL

So far I have made over the last 6 months, some pretty neat things that I will soon be putting up on the blog,  Like the custom Jeep Tube Bumper, Tube Fenders, Tire carrier, Rock Sliders, Overhead Sound & Light Bar, Gas Powered Wagon, Radio Flyer of course, Wheelie Monster, Child Size Single Seat Sand-rail that I made from a kids quad, a custom hand-made Cruiser Chopper Bicycle, a Mini Cutlass Go-cart with air struts, a Remote Control Sailboat with top deck and hull, and many more things that I will  talk about that I am making or have made in the past!

WELCOME TO MY BLOG.
